About NRS POS System

Cheetah or Puma?

The Cheetah is faster, holds up to 15,000 UPCs, integrates a scanner/scale and is required for NRS Petro. It requires NRS PAY. The Puma holds up to 8,000 UPCs and works with or without NRS PAY.

Are there monthly fees?

Yes. A software service and support plan starting at $19.95/mo with NRS PAY covers the software, the one-year warranty and 7-day support. See the pricing page for every plan.

I already have a POS. Can I switch?

Yes. NRS runs a POS trade-in program, and your items can often be brought over. Dipendra will look at what you have.

Is the NRS POS system free?

Not the countertop systems: NRS lists the Cheetah at $1,799 and the Puma at $1,299. What is free is the EMV card reader when you process with NRS PAY, and the Panther app on your own Android tablet has no hardware cost. Any other free hardware is a specific offer that Dipendra confirms in writing.

How is an NRS POS system set up?

Dipendra handles it: a look at your store, the right bundle and plan, installation at your counter, your items and prices loaded, payments tested and staff trained before your first sale. NRS also runs free online training at Camp NRS (campnrs.com).
